Playing in the support band to Cliff Bennet and the Rebel Rousers
at The Cliffs Pavilion, Southend in the late 1960s.
Why and when did you start playing?
My Dad had a guitar which I learned to play on and joined a group
of my friends who had formed a band at school (1960 ish) and needed a bass
player, I have been playing ever since.
Which famous musicians have you learned from?
John Entwistle (The Who) as bass player, Eric Clapton for Guitar
What is the best thing about being in the band?
Playing music I like with a group of like-minded people.

Stormy Monday, Red House
